Based on its leaders' fiery rhetoric, Iran certainly seems to think that it holds the upper hand against America, Israel, and the West. Victor Davis Hanson explains, however, why the Mullahs are hugely mistaken.
Meanwhile, America's representative to the U.N., John Bolton, warns Iran to end their nuclear program, or else. What could "or else" mean? Potentially this.
What a surprise - CNN continues to excuse Hamas's terrorism. Yet another reason why I don't watch the channel. If you want to email the editor about this egregious lack of objectivity, go to this webpage.
On a somewhat similar note, Katie Couric's new employer CBS demonstrates its own biases as well.
Tributes have been pouring in for the late Caspar Weinberger, who is being remembered as a strong defense secretary who helped President Reagan win the Cold War. But not everyone recalls Weinberger so fondly; Israel Insider's Avram Hein rightfully slams him for his grossly unjust treatment of Jonathan Pollard.
Rabbi Shea Hecht also makes the case for why it's time to set Pollard free.

The media bias on these news channels is really bothering me. It's like I can't watch the news anymore and instead must get my news online, or from shows like Scaraborough Country or Tucker Carlson's show, and especially from great online blogs like the Solid Surfer.

Thanks, Mini Me - glad to be of help! I agree with you on the news; I like Fox News a lot, but virtually never watch the news on CNN, CBS, NBC, ABC, and the like.

It is clear we must prepare and plan for strikes against Iran, whether or not they are eventually needed.

That's true - both the U.S. and Israel should prepare. And if they're smart, other Western countries should do so too.
